Great little gem!
My boyfriend and I live in the area and couldn't decide on where to eat recently. I mentioned having gone there a few years back with girlfriends who were in town who had stayed at the hotel and I remember the restaurant being decent so we pulled in to give it a shot.
When we walked in it was pretty quiet maybe one or two other tables but not an employee in sight. We figured it was safe to seat ourselves so we picked a small booth. I started to think we had made the wrong decision when we had both been up to the restroom to wash up and no one had come by yet.
But luckily a waitress came by, super friendly and attentive. Her name is Asia. They had about 5 options for beer on draft he chose from and a round house margarita special I went with. We ordered hummus appetizer, I got red beans and rice and he got Tuscan chicken sandwich with macaroni and potatoe chips on the size.
Prices were what I expected for a hotel restaurant, a little higher than I'd like for a casual dinner but once the food came I was pretty impressed! The hummus I'm sure came out of a jar but still had great taste and there were a ton of fresh raw sliced veggies, zucchini and squash and even a dollop of pesto on the hummus. My red beans were awesome sausage was spicy and well cooked and the portion was HUGE and my boyfriend inhaled his chicken sandwich so I know it was good.
Overall I'm so glad we went and it will definitely be at the top of the list of options for dining out! -

This place gets worse every time I'm here. Holiday inn has gone to a very boring standard menu that is pretty awful. Ingredients are very sub par, and recipes are very plain and unimaginative.
I almost just paid 5 bucks for a side salad that consisted of the bad parts of a romaine head with some Parmesan cheese and soft cucumbers on it. The salad included one leafy green section of the romaine (which was brown around the edges). The rest was sections of the heart, some of which were deep inedible parts.
Chicken wings were flash fried to barely crispy on the outside, and barely cooked enough on the inside. This was after I asked for extra crispy. And they were dinky, low quality wings.
The bartender there is a sweetheart. Comped my meal. She can pour an awesome drink.
I say yes to drinks, no to food. -

The food is bland and not good, service is slow, prices are way to high for the low quality.

This is the WORST restaurant I have ever eaten at. I normally don't have high expectations for a hotel restaurant but this was rock bottom. The atmosphere looks like a nice place. We were invited for the managers special hour. You would think the food being served as a special would be great.
I got the mozzarella sticks and 2 of the 6 had no cheese in them! And not to mention it came with marinara sauce that was in a plastic sauce packet. Ew.
The cheese quesadilla was brown. Pretty sure there's no cheese that's brown! Yuck.
The fish tacos barely had a bite of fish in them. -

This place was horrible. Servers don't care, cooks don't care. It should have been a huge red flag when the place was empty. But somehow they still managed to take an hour to serve cold food. When I tell you this place is garbage, like go ahead and throw the entire staff away. If there was a manager he/she must've been hiding along with the cooks and servers who should be magicians instead of in the food industry because their disappearing act is truly one of a kind. We stayed in the attached hotel, which was nice. But trust me, just use Grubhub or venture out for a good meal
